A working cowgirl stands in the doorway of a tackroom during a dust storm. I shot this years ago for an magazine feature on working cowgirls. It is was originally shot on B&W film and has been scanned.

About Matthew Lit

Matthew Lit

Like many lifelong photographers I first picked up a camera at a young age and simply knew this was to be my life. I began working for local newspapers at 17 and would go on to earn a degree in photojournalism. I spent a number of years as an award-winning photojournalist and culminated that part of my life with a stint in Israel. My work now is geared toward people and dogs (which I'm beginning to post more of). I have taught photography since 1995 in higher education for Colorado Mountain College and its Isaacson School For New Media. In fact, some of my students are selling their work on FAA! Recently I began adding more of work and will continue to populate those libraries. Originally, I chose FAA to represent only my Holga Fine...
